Caribbean Coral Stone or Keystone, the name by which this wonderful natural stone is known through the United States, is extracted from a limestone quarry near the Caribbean coast of the Dominican Republic. The manufacturing process is similar to the one practiced thousands of years ago, where a big block of stone is extracted from a quarry and set in a processing line, where a sequence of chain saws cut it to the desired formats.
Coral Stone, used mostly as a decorative element, can be used in interiors and exteriors. In places like pools, patios, gazebos, sidewalks, walls, façades and others. Coral Stone acts as an enhancer, making those areas part of a tropical environment, manifested by its colors and characteristics.
Because of its physical characteristics, Coral Stone is a material that can be polished and shined it may suffer some small variation in texture or consistency.
